Abruzzo extra virgin olive oil. With its national parks, Abruzzo is a green land with more than 500 mills that produce excellent quality EVOO. In Abruzzo, thanks to the conformation of its territory and its climate, there is a development of excellent native varieties of olives with an important range of biodiversity. Abruzzo extra virgin olive oil and its cultivars have been recognized by three PDOs: PDO Aprutino Pescarese EVOO, PDO Colline Teatine EVOO and PDO Pertugiano delle Colline Teramane EVOO. Sometimes intense and spicy fruity flavors that give notes of artichoke, tomato leaves, almond and fresh grass are the main characteristics of Abruzzo's EVOO.
