Olive wood cutting boards

Olive wood has a very compact structure that makes it almost waterproof, very resistant and long-lasting. This characteristic makes it particularly suitable for use in the kitchen because it does not absorb the smell and taste of food and is resistant to high temperatures, consequently the cutting boards made of olive wood are effective for slicing the tastiest and juiciest foods. such as meat, or odorous such as onions. With olive wood you can make kitchen utensils, such as mortars or cutlery, but interesting are the plates and bowls that can easily contain liquid foods, such as soups or plates/trays on which to serve sushi and sashimi. Olive wood has an intense ocher yellow color with flaming chiaroscuro veins and its characteristic is that it can also be worked with a thickness of a few millimeters thanks to its very fine texture. Our chopping boards are made with Italian national olive wood, one of the most precious woods with exceptional characteristics, handmade and customizable with your own laser engraved logo. It is advisable to wash them by hand, using non-aggressive detergents and to grease them occasionally with olive oil to preserve them for a long time and keep them efficient over time.
