For the first time this year, A Beddu Cori extra virgin olive oil enters the market. Until now the pleasure of tasting it has been reserved only for family and friends, but now the time has come for everyone to make it known and appreciated. To begin, we wanted to focus on a single format, the 0.50 l glass bottle, which has a comfortable size, an elegant line and lends itself well to being displayed on our tables. Let's not forget, however, that the real protagonist is the unmistakable taste of this oil, fruity and full of unique aromas.

The extra virgin olive oil A Beddu Cori is obtained exclusively from olives of the Tonda Iblea cultivar, an endemic variety of the Ibleo area. The olive groves of the farm extend in the hills, about 400 m above sea level, in the territory of Villaggio Gulfi, a locality in the municipality of Chiaramonte, located south of the Iblei Mountains. Precisely in this area, with a strong olive-growing vocation of quality and typicality, the highly prized D.O.P. oil is produced. (Protected Designation of Origin) “Monti Iblei, Gulfi sub-area”, a brand that A Beddu Cori aspires to acquire soon.

The olive harvest takes place every year in October by manual stripping. Subsequently, the olives are taken to the mill and shortly subjected to pressing, using a continuous cycle cold extraction system. The oil produced has a veiled green colour, due to natural settling, with golden reflections. Aromas of aromatic herbs, green tomato and artichoke. It has a fruity flavor with notes of bitter and spicy in harmonious balance. It goes well with both meat and grilled fish dishes, ideal in soups and salads. Excellent for dressing bruschetta and grilled vegetables. It is suitable both for seasoning cold and hot dishes raw, and for use at high temperatures in medium and long cooking.
