COMPANY HISTORY

Terre in Fiore is the expression of the ancient agricultural tradition of the Belicino area (Western Sicily), specialized in the production of table olives and extra virgin olive oil of the monocultivar variety "Nocellara del Belice". The objective that has distinguished us from the beginning has been to bring healthy food produced with respect for natural resources and the environment to consumers' tables; hence the choice of an organic cultivation regime and loyalty to our territory came naturally. The climatic characteristics and the extraordinary organic resources of our territory have determined in us the conviction to exclusively market products resulting from our land and our work, with the ambition of bringing together the excellence of the native specialties of the Belice Valley with the ever-increasing number of consumers today, who are attentive to their health and the environment. Our farms are located in the heart of the Belice Valley, a handful of kilometers from the well-known archaeological park of Selinunte and extend over several hectares.

“To make a tree you need a flower!”.

The flower in our logo shines in the light of the Sicilian sun on a verdant field of olive trees! It is colored by the light of a land that wants to shine beyond every where, that has the courage to give the fruits of eternal youth... the olive tree does not age, every season is a source of new life, every flowering is new sap, this sap is TERRE in FLOWERING.

Our olive groves

The clayey and hilly soil, favored by a Mediterranean climate and the proximity of the sea, have allowed the cultivation of the olive tree since the Greeks settled in the area. The Belice Valley, in particular, represents the flagship of olive production in western Sicily with the native Nocellara del Belice variety, an olive that is suitable for table processing and from which an excellent extra virgin olive oil is also obtained. The peculiar characteristics and the strict production regulations have obtained recognition of the DOP certification for both products.

WHO WE ARE

Vincenzo Italia, born in 1992

Role in the company: Founder - Responsible for production processes.

After completing his high school studies, he founded the Terre in Fiore company in 2011. The modern management criteria of the company, aimed at respecting the environment, the product and ultimately the health of the consumer, project Terre in Fiore towards continuous technological innovation in agricultural production, without losing sight of the initial inspiring principles.

In 2013 he met Veronica, his life partner who became a fundamental figure in the creation of the new entrepreneurial reality; in 2021 the family expands with the arrival of little Alessandro who gives new life to the corporate dream under construction.

Giuseppe Noto, born in 1976

Role in the company: Commercial Director

After years as an employee at a cooperative society in Palermo, the chance meeting with Vincenzo Italia, a very young boy in love with his territory and full of sparkling ideas, captivates him and gives him back a new enthusiasm and the desire to believe in the possibility of a autonomous activity, able to give him the opportunity to put into practice the skills acquired through their studies professional and with work experience gained in the field of public relations. He decides to make the leap in quality and in 2012 he becomes an integral part of Terre In Fiore, taking care of its commercial aspect. While making use of the communication channels now widespread on the web, it continues to prefer the direct, frank and honest relationship with the consumer.

Veronica Cusumano, born in 1997

Role in the company: Legal administrator, promoter and manager of social channels.

In 2016 she obtained a diploma in administration, finance and marketing and immediately after began working in various commercial activities as a sales and public relations officer.  There she strengthens the skills learned during her studies, but she misses the classic Sundays in October, during the olive harvest, with mum, dad, her brother Giovanni, grandmother Enza and Aurora, the eldest of her cousins, the baskets at the neck, the races between the trees. The meeting with Vincenzo offers her the opportunity to relive those emotions and make them become her future work; with extraordinary enthusiasm she marries Vincenzo and his business project until she becomes its fulcrum.

Aurora Triolo, born in 1980

Role in the company: consultant and legal contact.

He has been practicing as a lawyer for 17 years with particular dedication to the fields of family law, juvenile law and criminal law. When Vincenzo and Giuseppe propose that she follow the project of the new Terre in Fiore, not only as an external lawyer, she feels the strong call of the afternoons spent in the family countryside, of the snacks based on bread and freshly crushed and seasoned olives by the legendary grandmother Enza, but at the same time she is attracted by the idea of ​​launching herself into an entrepreneurial experience that gives prestige to her family roots. From the courtrooms to the new Terre in Fiore it is a very short step!

Giovanni Cusumano, born in 1992

Role in the company: deputy production manager.

After completing his studies at the IPSIA of Santa Ninfa, he decided to cultivate the family lands inherited from his father, moved by the profound sense of responsibility passed down to him by the latter. In 2015 he joined the Terre In Fiore family, providing a fundamental technical contribution to the growth of the company which, over time, earned him the recognition of a leading role in the practical organizational dynamics of the same.
