EVO Oil - Extra virgin olive oil "Podere Torre delle Monache" Monovarietal CORATINA 2025

Coratina extra virgin olive oil is one of the most prized and characteristic Italian oils, originating from Puglia, in particular from the province of Bari. It stands out for its strong and complex organoleptic profile, which makes it highly appreciated by connoisseurs and perfect for many culinary pairings.

Characteristics of the Coratina "PODERE TORRE DELLE MONACHE" oil:

  • Aroma: Intense fruity with hints of fresh grass, green tomato, almond and artichoke.
  • Taste: Balanced between bitter and spicy, with a slightly spicy finish, due to the high concentration of polyphenols, which also guarantees long shelf life.
  • Color: Intense green with golden reflections.

Food pairings:

Coratina oil is particularly versatile and goes well with different types of dishes, enhancing their flavours

Raw dishes: Excellent on bruschetta, mixed salads, fresh tomatoes or legume salads. Ideal for seasoning meat or fish tartare and carpaccio.

Soups and soups: Perfect for legume soups (lentils, chickpeas, beans) or vegetable soups such as pumpkin and artichokes.  Added raw at the end of cooking, it gives a strong and aromatic note.

Meat: It pairs beautifully with grilled meats, roasts and game, where its robust character balances the intense flavours. Also ideal for marinating red meats.

Fish: Accompanies grilled or baked fish dishes, especially those with a stronger flavour, such as mackerel and tuna.

Cheeses and dairy products: Try it with fresh cheeses such as burrata or mozzarella, or with aged pecorino cheeses to create a balanced contrast.

To best appreciate its characteristics, it is advisable to use it raw or in preparations that do not require prolonged cooking, in order to preserve all its aromatic qualities. An oil with a unique character, capable of making every dish special!
