EVOO- "Coroncina" Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
The Coroncina is a Marche cultivar, widespread in the province of Macerata, at altitudes above 600 m above sea level. The oil is of excellent quality, very fruity, bitter and pungent, with a hint of artichoke, of an intense green colour, with a high content of polyphenols and chlorophylls and a good unsaturated/saturated ratio. The plants have a good sensitivity to cold and are grown in poor and gravelly soils due to their high resistance to drought. The cultivar probably derives its name from the crown-like protrusion of the fruit.
