Our plantation consists of new and centenary olive trees in the hilly area of Cariati, 2 km from the Ionian coast. We cultivate only the "Dolce di Rossano" variety in non-intensive cultivation using organic methods. The olive harvest is done manually. The early green olives are pressed and the oil cold extracted within 24 hours of harvesting and stored in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature of 16-18°C. The "VENNERI" organic extra virgin olive oil is filtered, with low acidity, yellow-gold colour, with a slightly fruity taste and a spicy and bitter touch, which makes it ideal for semi-structured dishes, fish, meat, lentil/bean soups and as a salad dressing.

One of our fundamental values is respect for nature and therefore we cultivate, with organic methods, exclusively the local and native variety of the area, the "Dolce di Rossano" in non-intensive cultivation. The olive harvest is done in the traditional way, manually picking the early green olives to ensure the preservation of the organoleptic properties. The olives are pressed and the oil cold extracted within 24 hours of harvesting and stored in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature of 16-18°C until bottling. The "VENNERI" Organic EVO oil is filtered, aromatic, of low acidity, yellow-gold color, with a fine consistency, delicate, slightly fruity taste and with a spicy touch. The "Dolce di Rossano" variety gives this oil a bitter nuance, which makes it ideal for semi-structured dishes, fish, meat, lentil/bean soups and as a salad dressing.
