LA MASSERIA Extra Virgin Olive Oil is obtained exclusively from company olives grown according to organic farming methods. Harmonious fruity flavor that gives a refined aroma when used raw for legume soups, raw and grilled vegetables, grilled red meats and raw fish. The oil is obtained from organic olives of the Frantoio and Coratina varieties, produced in Tricarico (Matera) from olive groves located on the hills of the Basento River. The hand-picked olives, taken to the certified organic oil mill, are pressed within six hours of harvesting. The kneading takes place in a controlled atmosphere at 24° with a continuous cold method. The oil obtained is stored in stainless steel tanks.

LA MASSERIA Extra Virgin Olive Oil obtained exclusively from company olives grown according to organic farming methods. The care in the different phases of harvesting and transformation gives this extra virgin oil an exceptional quality. With a harmonious fruity flavor that gives a refined aroma when used raw for legume soups and raw and grilled vegetables, grilled red meats and raw fish. It is obtained from organic olives of the Frantoio and Coratina varieties with an acidity in oleic acid of 0.20% and 5.7 meq O2/kg in peroxide number. Produced in Tricarico (Matera) from olive groves located on the hills of the Basento River facing south-southwest and divided by type of cultivar and degree of ripeness. The olives, harvested strictly by hand from the plant, are taken in perforated crates to the certified organic oil mill, where they are pressed within six hours of harvesting. The olives are defoliated and washed, then pressed, malaxed in a controlled atmosphere at 24° C and extracted with a continuous cold method. The oil obtained is stored in stainless steel tanks, filtered after natural settling for a few days.
