LE PIETRICCE
The "Le Pietricce" farm is located in the homonymous locality, situated in the hilly landscape of Vitorchiano, a small town in Tuscia, at the foot of the Cimini mountains, in the heart of the Vezza valley.
The company was born from the attachment to those places of the spouses Alessandro and Maria Luisa Tamburrini who in 1980 took over the estate which had previously belonged to Count Carlo Pocci and which represented a historical reality of those places dating back to the early 1900s.
Thanks to the entrepreneurial spirit of Alessandro Tamburrini and the passion for the land and nature of his wife Maria Luisa, the estate was redeveloped and progressively expanded; taking advantage of the mild climate and dry soil typical of the Tuscia area, they began their dream: to cultivate olive trees to produce high quality extra virgin olive oil
Today the property boasts 40 hectares of land, 30 of which dedicated to the cultivation of the main types of olive trees typical of the Viterbo area: Leccino, Frantoio, Moraiolo, Pendolino, Canino.
The production process follows the highest quality standards in order to obtain an organic product that guarantees its authenticity: the oil is extracted within 12 hours of collection, with a cold pressing that guarantees its nutritional and physical characteristics, preserving the organoleptic qualities and ensuring the consumer the recognized benefits for our body in the daily use of quality extra virgin olive oil.
